This page is
about the family of Samuel Lee and Pattie Haight of Washington County. Samuel Lee, so far as we can
confirm, was born about 1790 in Washington, NY and his wife, Pattie,
was born in 1785 in Westchester, NY. Samuel and Pattie had eleven
children born between 1803 and 1828 were born in the town of Washington
with the exception of three born in Westchester and White Plains, NY. From one of their children,
George W. Lee and his wife Catharine (Callahan) Hammond ,the family extends
quite greatly as they had nine children of their own between the years of
1853 and 1869 most all of born in the town of Hibernia (Clinton
Corners) NY, with the exception of their two oldest children who were born in
Harlem and White Plains, NY. With the help of Christine
Branch, Audrey Beegle, Diane Ollivett, Marilyn Sternitzke, Allen Merritt and many others who
shared precious information and photos, putting this family tree together has
been quite interesting and fun. It is my hope that we together,
can provide information to continue the growth of this web page for future
